This was a Father's Day gift and he is enjoying it so much. He seems like a little kid with it all the time. He's in a music band and they record videos and what not so this was great as it has great quality in picture and sound. Having the microphone set makes it sound very clear. You can turn flap so you can see yourself which is his favorite feature. Battery life lasts quite a while and charges fast. Can be a great amateur video camera for home videos and what not.

This is a great camera if your just learning. The night vision is amazing but the play back it's self is not the best.

Ok, I thought I would take a chance on this camera, and it paid off, not bad for the price and features. The only problem no one knew if I could use this with a Linux box and for that, I took a chance and won, AMcap is discontinued for Windows and Mac that is a problem to me as the one I do have a windows laptop I don't like to use it, I downloaded OBS for Linux and after installing it I hooked up the camera and it worked, it also works with Windows I would suggest downloading OBS it's open-source with a lot of features that can be used if you like something else get it and use that but I like OBS and have been able to not only do live streams I can also save the video to my system for me to edit it. I hope this helps someone else out.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great little camera, packed with some really important features. First, it is true HD and even UltraHD (4k).

It has a very good quality shotgun-style microphone that picks up sound really well, and another feature I really like is that the microphone can be removed, and swapped out with any standard audio microphone (in my case I wanted to use a wireless lapel microphone) for maximum flexibility. The included microphone draws it's power from the camera so it does not need additional batteries.

It comes with TWO rechargeable lithium ion batteries; these are expensive and the fact that they include two at this price is a great benefit.

Two instruction manuals are included; one for the camera and one for the microphone. They are in English and are easy to understand.

The camera also includes a wireless remote control which makes taking selfie videos a snap--it is a great feature.

The camera has a standard tripod mount. It also has a rotatable viewing screen, so that if you are taking a video of yourself you can see the image on the screen while the camera is pointed at you.

I have used the camera outdoors in bright Florida sunshine, and I have used it indoors in normal room lighting, both day and night, and it adapts well to all conditions I have tried so far. I have not tried it at night without lights on.

The camera uses standard SD cards for storage (not included, about $20 at any department or electronics store). AN IMPORTANT NOTE: SD cards have evolved over the years, from SD to SDHC and SDXC and these formats are not necessarily compatible with each other. The owner's manual simply states a spec for an "SD Card", but the older SD format is no longer manufactured or offered for sale. I tried both the newer SDHC and also the newer SDXC and the camera worked with both, which suggests to me that the camera is indeed newer technology but the manual simply doesn't mention so.

Overall, a great camera for the price. Small and compact, but it feels solid and comfortable in your hand with the attached strap, and at least for me I find it has all the right features.

The media could not be loaded. I needed to buy two cameras and this was one of the chosen ones. I bought one for myself and one for my cousin and this one in particular was the one that did the best in the long run. Compared to the other one it did better because it came with more supports and the box came more protected. The drums and footage are good, the sound is very realistic and the microphone helps with external noise and the night mode has met my expectations the barrel worked to stabilize the image, the photos had a good resolution especially in daylight and the zoom works well.
It came in a legal packaging and with a protective cover to avoid damaging the camera. And the delivery came before the deadline. Overall I thought the purchase was worth it.
