I used this to adjust the tracks on my RC tank. I bent two of the punches, but that's predictable given how much more friction is involved in a tank track vs a watch band.
1/16th scale Abrams tracks were able to fit in the block, but not in the easy push vise thing.
If you're using this for a watch then it will likely work very well for you.

Basic Tools For Band Exchange and Sizing

I used this took kit to swap a band on a Citizen Promaster (e.g. thick spring bars), as well as size the new band. In short no issues. That said for band sizing I used the fixture, drifts and hammer given the Citizen band required the longer reach of the drifts included in the kit.
With respect to the spring bar tool I had no problem such as breakage. That said pressing the tool firmly into the spring bar before applying pressure to remove the bar is likely key to preventing damage to not only the tool but also the watch. Note I taped off the lugs on the watch to ensure if I slipped damage woudl be minimal. But in the end this was not needed, but I would still recommend this safety step.
