For glossy shinny cooked rice that holds a shape when cooked do not rinse the starch ( it will be different if you rinse it )

Add together in the pot - 1 c rice add into a pot with 2 1/4 c best with quality bulion in the water or broth or butter
Bring to a boil then cover turn flame to the lowest about 18 - 25 min -
turn off flame with cover on let set 10 min
- when done the rice looks glossy shinny - see my pic - ( not fluffy )
- the rice will hold a shape - try a cookie cutter oil it first - mound onto your plate over food
- very delicious I could eat this all day long
- uncooked, the rice looks short, opaque white, short grain like Italian Risotto Rice
