I'm skeptical, of course, about supplements, especially when they claim to be solving a problem that "Modern Western Medicine treats in ENTIRELY THE WRONG WAY!!!"
I am also skeptical of over-regular use even of something so innocuous as Alkaseltzer or Tums, lwt alone non-extremis use of the heavy-hitter medications or prescriptions. So I always look for something simple, more or less food-based, and unlikely to do harm when things get rough.
I'd been taking 2-4 Extra-Strength Tums every night for about six months to manage my worsening acid reflux when I decided to give this a shot. One pill a night for about a week did, seemingly, nothing, so I upped to 2 a day for another ten days. The final five days of that (and for a couple weeks after even though I'd run out), I had to take Tums perhaps twice total, after excessive beer consumption.
Of course, I made a couple of other minor dietary adjustments around the same time (possibly spurred in some way by use of this supplement? How would I know?), so I'm not certain.
I will say this, the name is an absolutely accurate description and I looked forward to about 5-10 minutes after swallowing when that essence of pure orange would gently escape.

So I had vsg surgery in June of this year and developed severe acid reflux a couple weeks later. I was prescribed pepcid but I feel those types of meds are counterproductive. So I went on a search and came across this. I took one pill today and my acid had been 90% controlled! After my surprised relief, I decided to do more research and found out that D-limonene has been clinically used to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones.( which is a common issue for vsg patients). I was given a prescription for ursodiol which is also supposed to dissolve gallstones but I'm opting for this instead...I'll see how it works and I'll update later. 🤞

I developed LPR in 2012 and it took five years to get it under control with no use of PPI's or any of that JUNK (which made my problems worse, by the way). Every now and then I will have a GERD/LPR episode and the Orange Burps calms it all down. However... I'm 52 year old female. D-lemonene reduces estrogen and for a woman my age, that's not exactly a good thing since reduction of estrogen is linked to cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. I was disappointed to learn this, however, because Orange Burps have worked well for my GERD/LPR, I will only take as needed now instead of daily. I was only taking 1 pill in the morning, not two. IF anyone is interested, there are a few things that helped me get GERD/LPR under control: daily use of metamucil (it binds acid and bile), Zenwise Digestive Enzymes and Probiotic, and a splash of Aloe Vera gel juice in my water every time I have water, or anything to drink a splash is added. Regular gentle exercise. For me that has been US Master's swim team, although practice is not exactly gentle, it's a non jarring whole body exercise. Last but not least, - get your stress/anxiety under control!!! If you need to see a therapist to help do so - DO IT. I have personally seen a connection between stress/anxiety and LPR GERD. When I have an episode, it ALWAYS follows severe stress or anxiety. To all GERD sufferers out there - I wish you wellness.

I was pretty skeptical about these since I have had to take Famotidine for the past 8 years twice a day. I started to realize that it was causing some issues with my body, so decided to give this a shot. First day, I started with one capsule first thing in the morning on an empty stomach right around 6am. Around 3 pm, I started to get mild heartburn. My burps tasted like I had just consumed a fresh orange (which doesn't bother me at all) so I took another capsule around 3:30pm. I was fine all thru the night. I woke again the following morning with mild heartburn and repeated the process. So far this stuff seems to be working. If it continues to work, this may very well just replace the Famotidine forever. All I can say, is give it a shot and see if it works. Stick with it for a bit.

I have suffered from acid reflux GERD from a hiatal hernia for about 20 years. My doctor originally prescribed Zantac and later Prilosec but since the recalls I've stopped using over the counter medication. I've also been taking apple cider vinegar but the downside results were upset stomach, bloated and gas. I was looking for something more organic without side effects so I saw an ad for these orange burps but was skeptical because my stomach does not react well to citrus such as orange and lemons but since the reviews were good decided to give it a chance. I have been taking them as needed and I must say they work well. The only upset was if I took more than one at a time or on an empty stomach. The orange "burp" is pleasant snd only last for maybe an hour or so after ingestion. For me taking one these at the onset of heartburn and or indigestion has lowered the acid production and bloated feeling in my gut. These have become my new go to and hope they will continue to take them
