This is what was used when I was a child..I use cast iron to fry,Crisco,Wesson etc. are not the same for flavor,also this seasons cast iron as it fries..It's a natural product and after reading they claim this is better for a person than the other stuff..I even use this to make blackened chicken breasts and it's perfect..I don't care for the flavor of the other oils at all any more...
