Had this camera for about a year but all of a sudden the monitor won't charge. I bought I replacement charger thinking that was the issue, but it's the monitor. Very sad, we liked this monitor.

I bought this for elder care. My parents are on Hospice and we need to monitor activity. The caregivers prefer this monitor to more expensive ones we have had for the following reasons:
1) The angle that it will pan is much greater than other monitors, helping them to view the room without being intrusive and walking in.
2) The screen stays on the whole time when unplugged, not having to reset a timer as on other screens to another 60 min. As this is used 24/7, having to reactivate the screen every 60 minutes is annoying
3) Battery life unplugged is very reasonable
4) The piece that allows it to stand up on it's own is quite suitable - we have had others that fail to stand up after using it for a month or so. I feel it is sturdy
5) I did have a problem with one of the cords, and Customer Service was quick to answer and sent me a replacement cord straight away. They even followed up to be sure that took care of the problem.
I will be purchasing another of these same monitors .. I only wish they came with a 2 year warranty instead of 1 year. Maybe they will consider that in the future.

Truly, I thought I wanted something bougie for the nursery but this one does the job and does so effectively. The range around the house is perfect. The battery life is great and once the battery is going it out it alerts you with loud noises for a while so in the middle of the night if you forget to put on charge, you will be notified. Also, we have this thing on always because sometimes we just forget to turn it off. This thing lasts a while and the picture is great. Even during storms or bad weather, this device is going strong.
So glad I purchased this!!!

Love that it connects over its own signal rather than wifi so it's way more private, no hacking!
It lets the temp of the room, can be moved with with remote to change the view/angle, gives sound and video, and the battery lasts for over a day using eco mode in low!!
Camera quality isn't super high, but that is to be expected for the price. But overall this monitor is soooo worth the price! If you don't want to spend $100+ on a monitor this is such a great option!!!!

My wife and I received this monitor as a baby shower gift for our first child in 2021. The FOV is nice and the ability to move the camera using the monitor is very convenient. Our first monitor was dropped countless times by aforementioned child before it kicked the bucket, so we bought this one ourselves for baby #2 because the monitor can switch between multiple cameras, which we now have.
