Overall it seems quite nice. It was really easy to stuff and the shape holds up really well. I just took old clothes, cut them into tiny little pieces and filled it super tight. I saw some people saying that the shape didn't hold up, but I'm pretty sure that must be because they didn't fill the nooks and crannys with stuffing. If you don't cut up the clothing first, it leaves odd little gaps and the shape is weird, so if you can I'd cut up the clothes first, it takes a lot longer (took me about 2 hours) but I mean, you only have to do it once. It's well stitched and seems to be made pretty well, and the legs, head and torso are all pretty realistic feeling. It sits surprisingly nicely in your guard, very similar to a real partner might. I've been doing a lot of basic guard stuff and it's been pretty cool, not much different than a willing partner when it comes to guard stuff, it's probably the most useful for guard, side control and back mount drills based on the feeling of it, whereas stuff like passing and bottom half guard sweeps just feel weird on it; it's super unrealistic passing lifeless legs that fall to the floor automatically, or under hooking up from half guard on this thing. But I digress, just wanted to point out what drills are practical before you buy this thing.

Unfortunately, the arms are SUPER small. They're about half the size of regular arms. I don't know if it's really a huge deal, but when you rep triangles or armbars and then go train with real people, you might be in for a surprise when their arms are twice as long as your 100 reps got you accustomed to. They're shaped well, there's a nice bend to them for Kimuras and Americanas, and it's been quite fun drilling Kimura trap ideas with it, however I just feel that the size is going to be disadvantageous when it comes to live training, and it would have been so easy to make the arms a bit longer. Incidentally, the legs are enormous on my 70 inch model, so it's like a training partner with Artem Lobov arms and Stephan Struve legs. I don't think the long legs matter, if anything they're nice to work leg positions on because they're so clear about the knee line and the foot feels fairly realistic if you want to drill heelhooks with it.

Overall, this is a nice addition to have around the house if you're like me and love BJJ, catch all the fights and wish you could be at the gym more, but have kids and obligations that keep you from going as much as you'd like. Only downside is the small arms, if you can work around that, this is a solid purchase.

At first glance, after I had opened the box, I was concerned with how small it looked. I am 6'1" so I need something with some sort of size to efficiently train techniques on. After filling the dummy up, it grew much bigger than I expected it would, and my complaints went away. The only I wish could be different is the length of the arms, they are a little short but I can manage so it's nothing to really cry about. The material is tough which is great because I dont want to roll with something I feel could tear easily.
Stuffing it was quite easy, quick, and fun. I enjoyed watching this unfilled dummy come to life. I used a styrofoam mannequins face for the head, then stuffed polyfil around it, so it's more packed. The only issue was, I had to manually cut open a slit, that was big enough to fit the face in. I like the idea of the mannequin face because, it gives me a neck to choke. I also cut up styrofoam circles into blocks and used those as the hands. I used pool noodles for the legs, stuffed polyfil around them, then stuffed the rest of the dummy with the leftover polyfil. It only took me an hour to completely finish stuffing it.
All in all, hes a great guy to practice submissions and clean up my training, for when I go to roll live. You also can do some light ground and pound with it aswell. I wouldnt go as far as using it for any kind of throws or takedowns, not that this dummy would be great for those things anyways.

Also another thing I love about this guy is he's great for setting up pranks. I scared mom, dad, and sisters easily with him by just putting my clown mask over his face. Its funny to just set him in a inconspicuous corner, and watch as they unknowingly walk by, then piss their pants as they notice him.

I bought this and another similar product for my nephew. The material on this product was pliable, which was a good thing. The zipper is strong as well but the opening is small and it was very hard to fill with the foam. My arms and hands were scratched from fingertips to elbows. Both! I used a long handle brush to push the filler into the arms and head. Used cortisone afterword to make sure that I did not get a reaction from the scratches. He better use it.

So far, so good. It seems fairly well constructed. The only issue is stuffing it. Initially, I tried using old T-shirts, but they were too lumpy and adding a lot of weight. Eventually, I ended up using cut-up furniture moving blankets and that seemed to work fine. I noticed that if you used blankets and rolled them up a bit, then jam them into the upper arms and leave about a foot coming out of the arm and into the torso, then that supports the arm better and makes it stick straight out. I have also found those floating pool noodles also work well to keep the head and arms straight. If you used just little pieces of cloth or something, I don't think you could ever get the arms to stick straight out. This is excellent for practicing chokes and locks that you could not safely try on a person. I wish the hands were more like hands, but instead are more like stumps, but for the price, I am not complaining. Plan to spend maybe $30-40 on stuffing material if you don't have any used blankets and things around.

Excellent dummy. I had it professionally stuffed; therefore, it ended up costing me more to have it functional. Although it supposedly could be stuffed to about 99 lbs, I had my dummy stuffed with materials that would make it more like about 70 lbs. I use it for muscle memory as opposed to lifting, etc.

The dummy was delivered from overseas pretty fast and the package (since it was unfilled) was relatively small. All in all - a very good dummy.

UPDATE June 6, 2016: While doing Sambo leg-lock drills, I hyper extended the dummy's leg a little and it ripped. I patched it by wrapping it up with Gorilla Tape and it's good to go again. The stitching is not strong enough for you to apply full force in hyper-extended locks. I will not deduct a star, but buyers should be aware of what to expect. If you don't like the way it looks after wrapping it with Gorilla Tape then you can put a grappling gi on it.
