This is very good coffee and brews beautifully in my Keurig. My husband likes the Breakfast Blend, and I can also attest to the good, rich flavor of their darker blend coffee.
I did have both this and the Breakfast Blend on subscription, happy to have a good quality coffee with pods that are compostable, but cancelled it this morning after finally noticing that the pods are only Commercially compostable. That fact is clearly marked; I simply wasn't paying attention. I am looking for a pod I can toss in our backyard compost bin. If I can't find one that is as good as this, I may return and just keep collecting the used pods and making a run to the solid waste facility.
I am giving this item 5 stars, because it is very good coffee, and that is what is most important.

I was looking for less expensive dark roast and decided to try these.
I was a little leery about them since several reviewers talked about their failure rate.
The box of 80 arrived in individually sealed packs of 8 or so, which was a VERY pleasant surprise. That keeps them fresh.

The smell of the newly opened bag reminded me of freshly ground coffee from when I was a kid. I really like the flavor of them. They are much better than Kirkland, which I think has gone downhill a bit and used to be my "go to" since Starbucks is very expensive.

So long as I don't have a high failure rate I will definitely reorder them.
next time I may try the Fog Chaser, which is a medium dark roast.
(I've a regular, somewhat older Keurig which may make the difference)

I haven't ordered this in years because the price went way up, but it was recently reasonable again so I bought a box. Although the flavor wasn't too bad, it was weaker than I remember, like it was watered down. To try and beef it up, I make a 6oz cup instead of 8oz, but it's still not very strong, even using the "strong" option on my Keurig. Disappointing. I like the design of the pod, not encased in plastic, though, so it gets points for that.
I'll probably continue to buy Kirkland Pacific Bold from Costco instead, it's quite strong and always affordable.

I've been buying various blends of coffee from this company for several years and the quality of the coffee is very good, but with this latest purchase I have had to throw away about 50% of them because the top of the pods collapse when brewing using certain Keurig coffee makers, even with the adapter ring supplied by the company. I suspect these pods are just old and don't have enough rigidity to brew correctly. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get a refund on these even though I've been a loyal customer for many years.

I was looking for a Kcup that wasn't using a ton of plastic and I could add to my growing compost pile. When I searched this coffee came up as the top rated, I was hesitant because the price wasn't too high for a seemingly high quality coffee and compostable at that. I was wrong! The price quality and earth friendly aspects are A++++ even the bags , yes the bags, are commercial grade compost friendly.

User tip: if you are just starting your compost use one of these bags! They are great even for just the Kcup containers.
