Works very well. Hard to wind if have a long hose but that's not the devices fault. Gets heavy and not as maneuverable then to. Again, aspect of a long, 100ft, hose.

I've never had so much issues with a hose reel. Putting it together was fine but winding it the hose would never stay in position it would fling everywhere. The reel itself is super flimsy and wobbles all over.
Once the hose was wound after it set a few days and the water drained for some reason when trying to unwrap it kinks everywhere and knots trying to unravel.
It wasn't my hose either as I've tried it filled with water so it wouldn't kink and no water at all it was so frustrating.
Last night it took me and my wife 30 minutes just to unravel all of the kinks and knots to pull it out of the reel and just unhook it all.

I actually have two of these hose reel carts as I have use for them both in the front and the rear of my home. I use long hoses, so a good real is needed to keep the kinks out of the hoses. Generally these carts work just fine if you set them up well from the beginning. There are two issues. One is the way the hose connects to the reel making the first few wraps difficult and causing a more or less permanent kink there. Not sure there is any solution, and it has not caused any permanent issue. the second is that there is no way to lock the wheels of snug the cart down so it is easy to accidentally pull, and cause hose or cart damage if not careful. If care is taken up front to mitigate these two things, these two issues will not be a problem and I suggest that one do so. Otherwise... the carts are just fine and I use the almost every day during the warm months. they are well made of strong martial and will certainly last for a long time. the crank and winding system works well to reel in the hose. With those small issues in mind I recommend these carts.
