Good fit for 6 quart instant pot

This fits my 6 quart instant pot really well. It needed some assembly. Watch the video if you can't figure out how to attach the handle because it does go together in a way that doesn't allow water to collect between the metal flange and the glass. The only negative is the size of the handle. It's way taller than it needs to be which makes it take up a lot of room in storage. The handle could be much lower profile and still get the job done.

Seems strong and well made. It is sold as "universal" for all the many models of Instant Pot which seems like a tall order. I'd say it has about 1/8" of play. Since I'm using it as the recommended kid for using the IP as a slow cooker, I'm guessing that it doesn't need to be that tight. Or hoping.

If you have a Crock-Pot from the late 90s/early 00s era with a plastic lid, you may find yourself, as I did, lidless when the plastic finally gave up and cracked all the way across. I was quite put out, as I love my basic, no-frills Crock-Pot with the funky purple grapes and green ivy design that reminds me of where I started.
I quickly turned to Amazon to find a replacement (because, as we all know, Amazon has EVERYTHING), only to discover that they did not, in fact, offer plastic lid replacements for 23-year-old Crock-Pots. Sadness. So I did some measuring and found the next best thing...this lid. It didn't break the bank, does the job (even with the little breather hole in the top, which hasn't been an issue at all), and cleans up like a charm in the dishwasher.
My only complaint (or regret, because it's really not the lid's fault...it wasn't made as a specific replacement for Crock-Pot) is that I wish it was a little bit more arched, to give me more room for taller pieces of meat or larger amounts of chicken, but despite that, it still works like a charm. Two thumbs up, and my Crock-Pot is back in business!

This tempered glass, rimmed in rings of silicon rubber is the perfect skillet cover. It does take experimentation, self training, to wiggle it onto the shape of your waiting vessel. But once it finds its proper ring of match with the vessel, it is, I will admit, perfection.
