We didn't know how it would work to order ordering something like a snow blower from Amazon. It worked wonderfully and the machine was delivered right on time. We got to use it a few times this winter. It threw the snow very well and the batteries lasted plenty long. It rook very little time for my wife and me to get it ready to go.

I like the convenience of the electric battery. The handle does not stay in the upright position. It slips down because it does not lock in place.

This unit is extremely light duty. Don't expect it to chomp through ice or even snow banks from the snow plows. It cleaned my driveway of 3-4 inches no problem but did not do well with the ice underneath. The people that said the arms folded up when they tried to push it probably did not adjust the tightening nut. After I adjusted mine it's solid and I was pushing hard to try to chew up ice. Don't give something a bad review when you're not mechanically inclined and don't read the directions too"¦ there was a sheet that showed how to adjust the tightening clamps. It's all plastic so I don't plan on it lasting for decades. That being said it was light enough to pick it up, put it in my minivan and take to my mother in laws and cleaned her driveway. Fits nicely on a washing machine tray. The batteries lasted well. Her driveway can fit 4 cars and I had less that 50% on the batteries when I finished hers. I used a different set for my driveway. Overall I'm pleased with the unit. Would I prefer a gas snow blower ? Sure but I didn't want to pay for something I probably wouldn't use a lot. This works well for light duty and now I have two more batteries for my cordless chainsaw. I'm pleased.

Batteries could last a little longer and they take a long while to charge, but it's great not having to deal with gas or electric cord

The motor and battery run time were my concerns. In the 4 times I have used it this season they have outperformed my expectations.
I have a 20 x 40 driveway and a 150 ft. front walk. I have been able to clear 4+ inches of fallen and drifting snow on 1 battery set.
The second snow of the season was about 3 inches of heavy/wet snow. That time I used the 5ah set that came with the blower and my 3ah
From my trimmer. Only issue I have had so far is the handle locking mechanism. It as a 1/2 turn know on each side that when it gets wet does not hold very well.
Multiple times the handle would begin to shorten once it gets wet. If Ryobi can design a better locking design that I would definitely give it a 5 star review.
