The shutoff switch on the elbow connector makes it very useful. I had it installed for my camper van water tank inlet and spray port out. The water tank connector panel is right behind the rear door. The space between the door and the connector panel is narrow. The elbow makes possible to have the hose connected while the door is closed.

got this for my trailer's city water connector so i could hang more crap from it and not have a huge strain on everything lol. on top of being a 90° elbow it has a BALL VALVE in it :o
no one i've talked to has EVER seen a 90° ball valve like this irl. the closest I've seen is a 45° (which i have and is great for different hookups)
the box also came with like 5 extra o-rings :3
