These are the real deal. I'm always worried about getting some inauthintic copy, but the knives we received were real Cutco. I bought them for my wife as we have lost a couple over the years. These are her "go to" knives. Funny thing is, is that I never use them because I'm left handed and the blade is angled such that the cut always curls away from me. Aparently there are knives that are not preferred by left handers due to the way the blades are made.
