The quality of this product seems very good. I like the fact that the blade is longer than some other machetes that only have 12" blades. I also like the fact that the blade is 2 sided. I bought this product to help me clear some land that I recently purchased. I'll probably wait until October when the woods are less dense. I think it will work fine.

This blade is a strong, sturdy and durable. So far it feels good enough for the tasks its being used for. The blade is a bit on the heavy side but I suppose that has to do with the density of the blade. The entrance to the sheath which is used to store the blade could have been made from a different material like metal to avoid the fraying that has already occurred after only a few uses.
