This bulb went beyond my expectation for brightness and easy installation. Be sure that you have thin latex gloves for installation. I didn't think ahead and tried using thicker gloves. Why use gloves? The oils from your fingertips will cause the bulb to blow in two to three days if you don't. My apartment complex maintenance man told me that wasn't necessary and of course the bulb he replaced blew in two days. Save yourself time and money and do it yourself the right way.
