It only took one day for my 5 year old to break the hydraulics in the bucket arm so it no longer works or stays up. He isn't particularly hard on toys, but it fell over forward and when he grabbed it, he pushed down on it slightly and it won't work anymore. The detail is great, and would be better for an older kid maybe, but my husband probably just as easily could have broken it.

The product's basic functions work. The remote control works and it drives over a variety of terrain. It doesn't really dig/pick up/scoop up well however it does go up and down.

I got this for a friend's kid for Christmas and he loved it! Oh, and the kid loved it too. I took it out before giving it to the Dad to wrap just to make sure it was in good shape and it was surprisingly well-built for the price. It works, it's gone some fancy lights, and the bonus points: IT COMES WITH BATTERIES. I can't believe it's 2023 and we still have to stress over that, so kudos to the manufacturer for getting that part right.
