I bought these mainly for winter use since the plastic ones don't hold up to freezing temps, obviously. This is the first time I've ordered such large ones. They seem strong, though I haven't tested them in the wind to see if any twist apart. The only thing I'm having trouble with is that they aren't very angled/tapered from top to bottom, so it's hard to determine which end to squeeze without looking at them. I guess it's due to the size of the spring relative to the length of the wood. I may decide to paint the top or something to try to make that a bit easier.

The product itself is about as good as any wooden clothes pins in my life have ever been. It's what you expect it to be. But when I counted the amount from the package, I only received 97 pins instead of the total 100. I suggest you count what you receive if you are getting these for crafts or specific projects and need the full 100. Otherwise, it arrived on time and is decent quality. Just 3 pins short of great!
