These Velcro cable ties are the best I have used. I have tried electric tape, but it leaves residue and is not really reusable. I have used double-sized Velcro rolls, but you need to have scissors for those, and the material is at least twice as thick. I have tried twist ties, but those don't really survive 3 reuses.
These Velcro ties have an opening that allows for the ties to the "locked" on the cable so that it's not lost and once does can easily be wrapped again. I bought this pack of 100 because I had already used up a pack of 25 organizing cables by my desk, these 100 ties are destined for my other cables in the storage closet.

Life throws a lot of cords at you. This product helps get them under control. Much better than zip ties that you have to cut to remove. They're easy to thread through those small hooks and zip ties on the back of a tv or monitor making it easier to get the cords hanging behind your wall mounted tv under control. The Velcro makes it easy to reuse these over and over (vs zip ties). One annoying thing was the hole that you thread the tip through to secure the tie pops out. They're small and will fall on the floor, but if that's the only issue it ain't that bad.

Just did a new PC. Build. Bought these for cable management, just in case. Turns out, all of the components came with their own velcro strips of higher quality. The ones that came with the PC have plastic rings on one end where it loops through on itself. These ones don't, but it doesn't really matter. Don't loop the strap back on itself, as it will probably tear through. As long as it keeps wrapping in the same direction, however, the entire thing is velcro so it will stick to itself nicely.
I did use them in a few places, and they do the trick.
