We got these gloves for my daughter to use at a local HitFit gym where she circuit trains with high intensity intervals. Some of the 10 work out zones have kick boxing and punching bags.
The gloves help cushion the hands while puching the weighted, cushioned punching bags. They're also helpful in supporting the wrists and protecting palms while weight lifting.
The only complaint and reason for the 4 stars is that the wrist wrap straps are too long. They take too long to wrap when you only have 20 seconds between exercise zones. I had to cut the straps to shorter lengths and sew the straps back in place by machine.

This is my second pair and I have been enjoying the wraps. It saves me so much time compared with the traditional wraps. The padding is enough for me during regular kickboxing group classes. People complain about the padding. I will recommend stick with the traditional wraps if you are regularly doing sparring for the best protection of your knuckles.

I really like these and I picked them over another brand because of their extra knuckle padding. I don't mind wrapping my hands but sometimes I am in a hurry to make it to class and I would like these as an option as well. I would not try hitting the bag with just these but they do give good protection under my RDX gloves.
My biggest gripe and I realize this may not be to some people is I would like the option to lock my thumbs with the wrap...these are just about 3-5 inches too short in the wrap department to be able to do that. If I could suggest one improvement that would be it. These are also a lot more unbreathable then traditional wraps and get extremely sweaty. I could see this leading to being very stinky in the future so will have to monitor. Like everything else there is a trade off.
