I wish they were better packed. Both bars came as a result of individual purchases and were shipped separately about a week apart. The apparently uniform method of packing is to toss it in an envelope and let it go. Great product though.

This is straight out of the casting mold with no machining. Being a kilogram, it is just large enough to demonstrate the inductive properties of moving a magnet over it. A one pound bar would be too small for that.
