I bought two of these, one to use as a combiner and the other as a splitter. With two (same brand) digital TV antennas (with same exact length coaxial cables integrated with each antenna), I connected the two antenna cables to the combiner, used a short length of coaxial cable to then connect to the other as a splitter, and then ran separate cables to two different TVs. Worked fine - the two combined antennas worked better than either one separately. I read conflicting information beforehand that said it couldn't be done (yes... it can), and another source that said it was beneficial to have the two antennas the same brand, but most importantly, the key to having it work is that the cables from each antenna needed to be the exact same length from each antenna to the splitter. I followed those instructions and had no problem.
