A day after receiving the car, it began to act up (I think in a somewhat rare/unfortunate way with a defective component - the car wouldn't stop strafing/turning in one direction). I don't think this is a common problem and I hope my saying this doesn't dissuade anyone from the purchase. I emailed the company the next day (I was hoping recharging the car would help the problem, but it didn't) and let them know about the issue. They asked me some questions about what was happening and I explained, and they really took care of everything. I received the replacement very quickly, which was fortunate because my niece who was visiting hadn't left yet (I was expecting to have to send it on to her once I received it).
My niece loves this car! The dance button makes her giggle so hard. I had to work with her on the controls (basic, but she's 5 and has never had an RC car before). We didn't try the watch-like controller as it doesn't fit her hand well yet, but it's very responsive to the standard controller and she got the hang of it very quickly. The car does work in grass, though turning is difficult in thick grass. She loved using it on the sidewalk in front of my house, especially.
This was a good purchase and the customer service department of this company is very responsive and works to resolve problems quickly!

We got a few of these for Christmas for our kids and they are hands down the best toy! They always go back to play with them. Not like a lot of gifts that get forgotten about a week after Christmas. These continue to be a hit at the house. The batter life is pretty impressive. They barely get charged and last for days. They are really durable. They get rand into things all the time and have yet to become broken.

The car itself is pretty neat. However, after only using it twice, the battery will not hold a charge. There is no way to contact the seller for support or to replace the battery. All in all, a waste of money.
