No 16:9 super short HDMI

The product works well, but I wish it had an option to upscale the picture to 16:9, even if you change it from 4:3 to 16:9 on the Wii settings it remained 4:3. Also the HDMI cord that is included is SUPER short. It looks to be about 3 ft long.
