Supplied wall anchors will probably work well on cinder block, concrete, plaster walls and Sheetrock thicker than 5/8" drywall. Otherwise they will easily fall into the wall cavity when you try and screw in the large supplied screws (tried tighter hole and thinner screws but still walls not thick enough). Had to use my own anchors that were made for walls 1/2 or thicker that also have a ridge that will not allow for plastic anchor to not slide through.

These are simple brackets, they work and look nice. Includes a decent set of hollow wall anchors. They are advertised as 'heavy duty' but I would consider them medium duty compared to what you can get at your local hardware store, and for me that's good enough. In contrast, many home-goods products from China and sold on Amazon are just flimsy junk and these brackets [and the anchors they come with] are definitely much higher quality than that.
The mounting flanges are wide enough that you can easily position your brackets to screw one side of each bracket into the wall studs, and they're easy to get, which is nice.

I like how they look with cherry shelves. Only issue is a 2x4 is 1.5" wide. So you have to angle the mounting screws. If the plate were vertical, it would be more secure. The shelves in the pics weigh 35# each. So, i feel they should be fine. Well worth the price. Would have been a 5 star if designed a little heavier and vertical mount.
