Great shelving unit

Great shelving unit now that it is put together. Was kind of a hassle for me to do so. I wished I had a rubber mallet to begin the project to get all 4 legs the same height (you have to push the pieces in & I couldn't get them to go in the same depth).
I was putting the unit in a room with carpet so it ended up not being important but if you are placing it on a floor make sure it is banged before building up.
Also. Take care not to pinch your fingers or thumb between the two plastic pieces that hold the bars together. I read that in a review before buying and thought I was being careful but ended up doing it anyway and I honestly thought 1) I would not get my finger out of there & 2) I was going to pass out from the pain & 3) they would have to amputate my finger
So, seriously, just push on those plastic pieces from the outside!

Love these units! I bought 3 of them and was able to assemble them by myself.
So easy to see where you've placed objects and nice to be able to adjust the shelves. I also love the wheels, as it makes it easy to clean and move around when needed. 99% of the time I keep the wheels locked - but great feature!
For example, I put large paint containers and a shop vac on one of the bottom shelves (made it nice and tall) and then added smaller shelves above that to hold things like my rechargeable leaf blower, gardening tools, etc. Also, great for storing bulk items like paper towels, water, etc.

Bought one to store my canning, and was so pleased that I just bought another. If you want to put glass jars on these shelves, you'll need to line them with something stiff - cardboard from boxes, or vinyl flooring works well. Otherwise, the jars won't be stable. Other than that, the strength of the shelving makes them ideal to bear the weight from canning.
Good Deal in spite of shipping fees.

When I bought this item in September 2023, the shipping fee was equal to the retail price of the shelving. Seems like a stinky way to market a product. Still, it totaled less than identical items on Amazon.
It's a very sturdy shelf unit. I've got all four shelves loaded with mostly gallon jugs of pesticides, lawn chemicals, laundry detergents, and car stuff, etc. Really cleaned up the clutter in my back door hallway.
Still, I recommend you secure the top shelf to the wall with some small straps. (Aim for the wall studs.)

Very happy with this shelving unit. It was easy to assemble and as I was putting it together I could adjust the height between each shelf to suit my needs. Unit is very sturdy. One shelf had a slightly bent edge from shipping (although it was packed pretty well), but not a problem for me as it is minor and I just put that facing the wall. A decent price as well. Thinking about ordering another one when I finish organizing my space. I like this much better than the big plastic shelves that you see out there. Fast shipping too. A+ from me!
