These are pretty flimsy, as you might expect from the description, photos and price.
So, don't expect miracles. If your kids use these as actual 'battle weapons', not the props that they are, they will be done playing in less than 5 mins, with the swords completely broken. For young child/early teen cosplay, they are totally fine though. "Pretend play" is the operative word here.

Like others mentioned, these swords last for quite a while even with rough use. Mine are still going pretty strong and they get regular, rigorous use every day. The sheaths are a welcome touch too. Buy these if you have smaller children that are rough with their toys. It is well worth it.
