Wasn't too bad. I assembled the majority of it alone; 10 hours total. When it came time for the roof panels I installed the outer perimeter (Loosely) so the panels wouldn't slide out. This worked out well as the materials had enough bend in them. Additionally I assembled the roof framing as a whole then I placed it on top. Not saying it was easy but it worked out for me. Sturdiness is okay. I did have an issue with one of the threaded inserts, luckily the defect wasn't at a critical location (free spin). Time will tell how long it will last. I installed it on a wooden deck (installed studs where I missed joists). I will update once it has survived a few storms.

Took a chance and bought the wood framed, steel roof 13' x 15' model from YOLENY and could not be more pleased with the result. The only snag was that FedEx completely mangled one of the boxes causing deep bends and creases in every piece of roofing. I reached out to YOLENY customer service and after several rounds of pictures submitted and clearly stating the extent of the damage they shipped an entire replacement box in less than 1 week at no charge.
I am very pleased with their solution in spite of the damage being caused by FedEx.

I'm pretty handy and was able to construct the gazebo 99% by myself in about 20 hours. The 1% help needed was in lifting the roof-cap frame into position.
Despite what some of the other posters said about some of the roof pieces being wood, that was not the case for mine. The entire roof and support structure in 100% steel, which was a relief as I have a large 6' diameter gas fire pit (300,000 BTUs) inside the gazebo. I ran the fire for 2 hours on high (2' tall flames) and used a thermal heat gun to gauge how hot the roof got. It maxed out at 148 degrees directly over the center of the fire which, for steel, is nothing. The warmest the wood frame got was 80 degrees. Again, nothing to worry about. After that test, I have no concerns about burning a large gas fire inside the gazebo!

FYI, I stained the spruce frame a mocha color to match our other outdoor structures and to protect it from staining and weathering. it looks beautiful. The spruce comes unfinished and looks nice if you like the natural color of wood. If you choose to stain or paint yours it was an easy job for me. The soft, porous wood soaked up the stain easily and finished perfectly smoothly using only a brush. 2 coats and it looks like a factory applied finish.
All in all I can say this item exceeded my expectations. The engineering is well thought out and I had zero issues with holes not lining up. It's built very well and is substantial in its sturdiness and weight.
I believe it will hold up for 20+ years easily as long as the stain is maintained. Just make sure you level and plumb the base pillars and you'll be good to go. For under $1800 it's a bargain and I think it adds $5K-10K easily to my home's value.

Some of the bolts and screws weren't sent. Luckily we were able to find things that worked at our hardware store. Tough to put together. Instructions were limited.

At first I kind of balked at the thought of paying for shipping on Amazon, BUT it came FAST!!! I think a week earlier than told. I think the only downside, is I wish some of the ceiling beams were labeled with a top and bottom. I love the thickness of the posts. The posts are a wood look. I wanted this to match my house so I painted the posts white. Everything seems sturdy once it's altogether. I love this and I am so glad I purchased it!
I read other reviews before buying and then read again for tips for assembling. Be prepared for 2 people to work on this with 2 ladders (at least 6 foot+) for a day and a half. Unpack Everything and check off to make sure it's all there. Then group all same letter parts together and organized. All the As together, Bs, etc. This will make it easier to find and expedite putting it together. There's only pictures; no word instructions. There's a few parts we're the written instructions would clarify better.
Again it is so nice! I got the 12x16 and it's the perfect size!

Really happy with this purchase. Gazebo looks just like the product pictures. Assembly was simple enough.

There is 2 crucial steps that you will definitely need assistance with. I attempted setting up by myself but had to ask the wife to help in holding certain pieces while I put them together. Unless you have several latters to aid in holding pieces in place.

1. Hardest part was holding the 4 pillars upright while trying to secure the frame. Call up a couple of buddies to help if you can.

2. Second hardest part was putting the top roof frame assembly in place. This was difficult because it's high up and needs to be secured in 4 corners.

After those two assembly hurdles its easy sailing. Materials look like good quality. Compared to older reviews, I assume that the manufacturer improved the materials, because the stuff I got looked high quality and was well packaged. The 4 main pillars are not hollow inside but solid all the way.
