I'm a cake baker and the skull size was perfect for my most recent cake for a birthday in October. I can't wait to make more! I filled the mold with a thin layer of white chocolate and let it get chilled in the fridge. After 25 min I was able to carefully peel away the mold and the skull came out perfectly. I highly recommend.

I've actually only used these for ice cubes. Which I leave in random places, to confuse people. Seriously though, here's a pro-tip for all your molds, but it's especially relevant to skulls. If you're making ice cubes, and you want them crystal clear, use distilled water. It's a buck and a half per gallon at my local grocery, but I remember getting it as cheap as a quarter per gallon from a dispenser, by bringing my own jug. These large, skull-shaped cavities may seem too large for soap making, but I'm thinking for bath bombs, they may actually be just right. I'll update this review in a year or two... maybe.

I was in a pinch... the silicone version I ordered for a quarter of the price was running behind and I needed it for Halloween. I ended up buying this simply because it would arrive on Halloween day and man oh man... the quality of this tin baking pan is immeasurable. It's the sturdiest thing I've ever made anything with, ever. And the pizza molds came out perfectly. It's not cheap in quality OR price, but it's really worth it if you intend on using it or are looking for something solid to bake with. This brand is unbeatable. Highly recommend.
