Does everything and more!!! Keeps insulin cold and definitely holds more than the basic diabetic necessity!!! I may only change the ice packs for longer trips as they don't last longer than a couple of hours but other than that, I absolutely love it!!! Oh!!! And a small ice brick last longer and does fit if you were wondering.

Love this bag for all of my diabetic stuff! And that fact that I can keep my insulin cool while traveling is just the added bonus for me. I had a different larger bag but it did not cool my insulin. Would definitely tell all diabetics this is a must have, I keep it in my backpack for work (insulin is not stored in it on daily bases) and when we travel I grab the cold packs and I'm ready to roll

It does hold a lot of supplies and I only have to refill it once every week or two. Wish the ice packs were a little bit bigger, however they do keep everything cold.
