I use this unit to cut the hair on my head and trim the hair on my face. I've been very pleased, having used it for several months, and have found nothing negative about it. I trim my facial hair about every two weeks, earlier if I have an important meeting, such as a date with my first lady.
I noticed right-away that the battery life would not be disappointing. After giving it a full charge, my first use was to cut everything, head hair and face hair. The battery level only dropped 3%! At that rate, I'll get 33 full uses before having to recharge. It feels heavy and dense. It must be almost all battery.
It cuts very smooth and fast. I suspect it is much sharper than any other I've used. With other trimmers, I would spend about 20 to 25 minutes cutting my head hair and touching up. With this unit, I spend maybe 10 minutes. It simply misses less, leaving less to go over multiple times.
This week, I experienced the first tug of a few hairs. It might be showing initial signs of getting dull. But, I more readily believe the tugging was due to me becoming too confident and moving too fast with it. More time will tell. But, I've gotten my money's-worth already. So, if it takes me slowing down a bit, figuring out how to sharpen it or to order a new blade, or even replacing the whole thing, I'm happy with my purchase.
