Great choice for beginners or pros!

The media could not be loaded. I have been playing drums since I was 9 years old. (I'm 36 now) In all that time, I've only owned acoustic drum sets and only got to jam on e-drums on a few select occasions. I finally decided to buy one and chose this kit and I do not regret it. At all.
There's 12 distinct drum kit sounds to play around with, and the kit was easy to put together. It came with two pairs of sticks and headphones.
The only reason why I didn't rank this kit higher is because there's only 12 drum kit sounds you can use and a few of them are on there twice, as regular and "live" versions. Also there's no demo grooves to play along with and no way to record or program what you play unless you connect it to your computer. I thought all e-drums came with more options than this one did. It's a fun kit to play, but you can get bored with the same sounds after some time. Fortuneatly there's software like audacity that allows you to record and manipulate sounds.
Aside from that, it's a real joy! And like all e-drums, occasionally there may be a delay in response but it's not a burden or anything. If you want to control your volume and just love to sit there and groove, then this is well worth it!

Easy to follow instructions and setup. Sounds great right out of box, fun to adjust various sound modes. Surprised to find auxiliary port to plug in guitar as well. Hi-Hat pedal not as sensitive as I hoped but I can get used to it. Great product!
