I'm writing this because there seems to be some confusion on Amazon's part as to whether this light has motion detection.
It does not.
It gives off plenty of bright white light. The side lights are very functional as the direct it to areas that my previous light couldn't reach. This was a typical install. A single machine screw through the center that was just barely capable of reaching the threads in the mounting plate. I wish engineers would come up slide in mounting plate that positions the body so that you can then screw it tight and waterproof. Apologize for the digression.

These are just as described, our yard lights up as if the sun is still out. My only complaint is that the wiring was reversed to what it should be. When I first wired it up it kicked the breaker because of this. If not for this than a 5 star rating all the way.
Turns Out Nighttime Yard Into Daytime Brightness

We had the traditional spotlight type of flood lights at the four corners of house. Some could have been original from 30 years ago and they were corroded inside and out. Trying to replace bulbs was a futile effort.
These, two per container, I bought two which gave four total lights. Being in three segments, they can be positioned to face different directions. We aimed the larger, center light out from the corner, then the smaller lights at 45 degrees to have them cross each other along each side, front, and rear.
These are so bright, that we actually light up a good portion of the street, and our neighbors yards as well. When we take the dog out at night, there's nowhere we go that we cannot see just as if it were day time.
I have recommended these to everyone. Us taking the dog out, grandchildren over to play outside, one of my neighbors to put on his business building. These are for anyone.
Installation is tedious, but I think this was just due to working off a ladder more than actually being difficult. Easy to adjust, with teeth locking the arms into place so they don't sag over time.
I would by these again immediately if I had the need to arise again.

I wanted a non-motion sensing light(s) on back of my house that would light the place up and that's what i got. Very bright lights. The 3-piece setup allows me to rotate and shoot light around the corner of my house. The lights were easy enough to install, no real surprises. Had the two pack installed in about 30 minutes. Did i mention they are very bright? When they are on it is like daytime in the backyard now. Shoot light across the patio/pool area which is 20' x 40'.
I took the photo with iPhone so looks like it photo corrected some of light, but it clearly shows how bright the lights are.
