I first bought an ARRIS SURFboard SBG8300 Modem and WIFI Router and the router didn't work at all. I had Amazon send me a replacement and the Exact. Same. Thing. happened: the router did not work at all. (You can see more details in my review of that product on their product page.)

Very easy set-up. Slightly stronger signal than my old xfinity rental unit initially. Lately need to reboot it frequently because of weak signal or dropping random Ring cams I have. I'm past the return date, so I'll see how it holds up.

I am very close to my speed of 500 mbps, at times it would even go beyond that. Got this on a special sale so I purchased asap. One of the best purchases I made.
