I really enjoyed the product but the reason I gave it four stars is because it was made in china...I thought considering it was from Free Soldier it would be made in America. I was wrong, obviously. I was looking for an American made bushcraft product.

Bought this tarp as part of my bugout or SHTF bag. Either way, I set it up and installed a quick deploy system on the 4 corners. It didn't come with a ridge line so I made my own from 550 paracord and added prusik tension knots that will stay on the ridge line quick deploy system. I love the fact that I can set it up in so many different ways for different situations due to the amount of tie down spots on it. Treated it with permethrin to avoid ticks and fleas and other annoying bugs. This tarp will be used with my hammock system and always in my truck. I love it so far. Have not tried in the rain yet but plan to see how it does.
Easy to carry. Easy to pack. Easy to set up.

It's a very durable and versatile trap. The size is ideal for multiple configurations.
The colors in my photos is off. The real color exactly as in the product shots.
The logo is a too big, but on the olive green version it blends in.
If you get it make sure you meld the ends of the paracord. They are already good to go but I'd melt them again.
I also would recommend buying an extra set of tent pegs. Again, you're purchasing a tarp not a tent. So if you want more, get more. I think the four that come with it is plenty for most uses. I got more.
The orange tent is an REI Trail Hut 2 as comparison. I set the arp next to it in a folded over config so that I had a ground sheet. Tons of room for one with all gear. Or for two (not sure about the gear though).
For all you heroes complaining that you cannot get pack back in the bag"¦ this is my 12 year old daughter's tarp. She packs it alone and gets it done. Just for perspective.
And if you think it's too heavy: go to the gym. The weight really is appropriate for the size and durability. You can make you own super lightweight out of tyvek, but this one here is really good.
I also would add a ridge line to you set. And yes, it will fit in the bag.
Overall, we are really pleased with it and only give it 1 star because the delivery tuck had a smudge on the windshield. Just kidding. 5 stars. Good product.

This thing is soooo much more product than the money spent to acquire it! I'm tickled to pieces about this purchase, as theres nothing better for an outdoorsman, than a good, reliable, durable, sizeable & reasonably lightweight shelter system. THIS... is the goods!
