This was my first experience hammock camping, but I love this tarp! It was huge! It took me a bit to figure it out (first time setting up a hammock/tarp for sleep). The extra tie downs made it really roomy inside. I left the bottom grommets unhooked the first night. The second evening there was rain and we had a cabin to go into for the storm, so I cinched up the ends. The bottom I hooked together with some spare carabiniers in case the wind picked up a little, making a cocoon. Nothing was wet and it only took a minute to unhook. I did stake the bottom on the second night. Speaking of staking, the stakes on this are awesome too! I'm looking forward to ordering more items through gold armour. My next purchase will likely be a bug net.

This is honestly my 3rd time ordering this because I simply love their customer support and durability on these. If you are an occasional camper or use this on a less frequent basis...I would think these may last forever!! However, I am thar special snow flake who have this on my hammock in my backyard 365 days a week in unforgiving weather and they really hold itself. I had damage the last one through my user error because I got them stuck on a tree branch and had a small tear on them so instead of optiming for a warranty exchange I chose to pay for another one because 1st time they offered me a full refund to replace another one and I refused it because of the customer service. Small businesses should be supported! Love it guys. Great job. Will buy these every year if I have to happily. They are water resistant, durable and excellent value for money. Not to mention the size is more than ample for every conceivable situation. Thanks once again!

I thought this would fit a Core frame that I cannot find a replacement screen tent. I did find out that it is a great tarp for adding to my camping gear. Large enough to cover an area big enough to move around in with a table or cook table under it as well. Large enough to make a good sized "porch" for my eight person tent. Light weight enough I can move around and adjust without having to fight it. It is durable enough it survived my cats who decided it was a good "toy" for playing on and under without a snag or hole. I will probably replace my other tarps as they wear out with more tarps from this company.

Took it out for the first time and it ended up raining for the whole night, I stayed dry and warm. A little condensation on the seams but no leaks, a quick coat of water repellent and I'm sure it would withstand a pretty heavy storm.
