Nice looking and matches our grey toned hard floor perfectly.
We used this at a small virtual school station we wet up for a small kid. He drags the chair around on the new floor constrantly. This is a great alternative to a plastic mat. It looks more like a plain solid colored rug, but functions like a regular office chair mat. It's VERY low profile- so could also be a good alternative to a door mat at a door where you can't get any rugs under it.
It flattens out pretty fast.
There's a clear plastic sheet to peel off the back so that it sticks better onto the floor as far as setup. We have not yet done that, as we are still trying it out in this location and may move it around before we really decide on it's final destination and I wasn't clear on how much it will STICK to the floor.
Overall I'd recommend it.

I'm really happy with this office mat as it has a modern, contemporary look and let's my chair move easily. It also provides plenty of grip so that my chair doesn't slide all over the place. I've had no issues with it tearing, pilling, or coming apart. It's well constructed and looks really nice under my modern metal desk. I have mine laying on a tiled floor and it's worked really well to demarcate my desk area and soften the overall look of my desk. I've both vacuumed it and taken it outside to shake the dust off with no issues. It's thin but in a good way, and seems to be holding up well.
