This was exactly what was needed. My daughter's BMX bike had no kickstand, and she would lean it against anything. In under five minutes, I had this positioned and mounted.
This came in a box, but there were no directions included. If you are buying this after-market kickstand, you should be mechanically inclined enough to figure this out.
The kickstand is lightweight and all metal. It also comes with two Allen wrenches"”1 for the three mounting screws and 1 for the adjustable length.
I had to mount this to the back. This was the only location thick enough to screw this down tight. My Mongoose bike has a kickstand in the exact location.
You can kick this down quickly and kick it back up. You can still use the pegs even when it's in the up position!

Pretty well manufactured aluminum kickstand. I wanted to replace the kickstand of my Aventon Level ebike, but the new kickstand has a clamp that is sized 2 mm too big for my chainstay tube so it wobbles even when torqued down. And the new kickstand can't support the weight of my 60+ lbs. e-bike. Disappointed. Returned.
