I purchase to install an 04 BMW 530 Skar audio is perfect beginner bass built very sturdy. Sound quality is amazing. This is the second system I've purchased from scar their amps, as well as their subs are great for a good price.(UPDATE) people check your ohm loads and power and you will not have any issues with skar I had the rp75 for over 2 years now and not a problem if you want your stuff to get louder you may need to purchase more powerful speakers and amps you get what you pay for with skar I love there products and service "¦
Absolutely love it!

The media could not be loaded. This is my first time Installing a sub with no experience and it was pretty easy to install. The only thing I would recommend to anyone out there if it's your first time is that the remote wire hooked up to the subwoofer should be hooked up to a fuse because for me I ran it to my radio like it said but the amplifier stays on when the truck is off, you could just run a switch but if you run it to a fuse that turns of when the trucks is off that would be better in my opinion.
Once ya age...

In my day, I used to enter dB drags, etc, always building up better sound, or building up something that rattles the bumper off. This WAS the 90s!
It's definitely easier to build some better sound today. Hooking up to factory headunit back then was a nightmare lol
It's common place now, the all-in-ones, etc
I still like good music, and I like to feel it too!
This is the 1st time going dedicated amp/sub combo in probably 15yrs. My system is all upgraded mildly and kept stealth to retain the factory look.
But it needed more! The sub in the stock location and factory Amp just weren't cutting it anymore.
In my day everyone had a favorite, whether it was a good or bad brand. I've spent a year researching deciding if I wanted to take up the space with a box, as I do work out of my truck, so I looked at all the option like underseat, tunes, etc. I've read the reviews all over on Skar, and decided this combo would be the right way to go.
I wasn't going for top-tier, brand or sound, I just needed to fill in the blanks on the sound.
I'm so glad I did!
It's been delivered for 3 weeks already lol, I contemplated returning it before the deadline. Even this morning as I was just feeling lazy and not motivated to tear up the truck.
Felicitously it was nice out, I had the day off and I got it done (even did a new headunit!)
I wish I put it in 3 weeks ago!
It's the right amount of added boost. I see a lot of "break-in" comments and as such I didn't beat on it and don't plan too.
I jammed some EDM, Trap/Dubstep, and a little 90s Country. With the bass knob you can really adjust it to each genre! YES, it does come with a bass knob! There are no images of it, or mention, and I was skeptical because only a couple say yes in the "questions".
Indeed it does. That's the game changer for this setup!
Everything hit without over excursion for each genre BECAUSE YOU CAN ADJUST IT
So here's the take, if you want more punch, and if you are willing to sacrifice a little space, get this.
It put a smile on my face.
I took my dog for a ride too because she's cool like that, and she digs it! It was like showing off to your date back in high-school lmao!
You can feel this lil system in the driver's seat.
And it's not obnoxious from the outside.
I have a 17yr old truck and it only rattled the license plate, not all the rust off (unfortunate, I was really hopeful!)
Gain is about ½, boost +12, sub 0
It's not plug-n-play, you do need a little know-how, but on a 1-10 it MIGHT be a 6. Definitely a hard 5.
Hardest part is probably getting power cable thru fire wall. Vehicles are just snapped together nowadays so run ing the wires in the cabin is easy.
Getting behind the headunit for the RCAs is probably 2nd when it comes to difficulty, depend on what you drive.
If you have a shop in town that'll install owner equipment, it's probably not to bad of a price because this install is cakewalk to the professional.
Getting a smile while driving is proof this was a worthy spend...
There's always "a chance" you get crap when you buy stuff today, but I'm satisfied.
Obviously, I will update this review as time progresses if I still feel this way.. or not!

Use a volt meter or SMD tool.with 40hz sine wave set the voltage to the rms times the ohm which is 600 and sqare root it which is about 24.5volts ac! the sub is 600w rms and the amp is 800. That means this amp will cook the sub! Don't be like these other reviews that caught their sub on fire !!!
15 inch - 800 watt amp

This speaker beats really hard. Didn't expect it with a 800 watt amp. But I have to turn down the bass on the knob it beats so hard. It's in my crew cab truck btw. But still in a truck You would want to turn it down some. I'm super happy with it.
