Perfect for DIY Bluetooth speaker

Don't waste your time with the simple, stereo unit available, I purchased one of these some time ago, and was pleased.
However "”
This 2.1 ( stereo + subwoofer) sounds MUCH better. So many ways to adjust your audio to soothe your ear holes.
Will function with less than 12 volts, but I wouldn't recommend it, the more power you supply, the more you get out. 12 volt yeilds great sound with little distortion or clipping.
I've yet to test with the 30 volts it's capable of.
I plan to try the 5.1 for my next project.
GREAT PRODUCT

Inexpensive way to repurpose old speakers
Phil S.✓ Verified Purchase•August 28, 2023
I had a cheap subwoofer and some small speakers from an old, cheap "home theater" dvd player that I couldn't repair. This unit got things back up and running inexpensively, and it's more versatile than the DVD player with its slow mode switch aux input, because it can connect to any Bluetooth or cabled sound source. It is a little flaky when trying to get it to connect to a different phone on BT, and usually has to be unplugged from power supply and replugged in to reset stuff inside (not just a simple power down with vol control). But for me, that isn't enough to take off a star.
Works great for an inexpensive amp for my desk

I use this at my work desk so it is gets it's audio input from the computer. I do now wish I would of spent more for a Bluetooth model though but works great to power a pair of klipsch bookshelf speakers and a 6" subwoofer and rocks my office when I want it to and sounds pretty good for an headphone style plug and very inexpensive
Wow! So much sound from a tiny package!

I used this amp to power a custom speaker cabinet, used as an all in one PA for the vocalist in my band. I used a 24v 9a power supply. The amp powers a a 10" mid woofer and a 4" tweeter on each channel, for 4 speakers total. I don't know what impedance the amp wants, but the woofer and tweeter on each side are run in parallel, which is probably making 4 ohms per channel.
Almost everything about this amp is impressive. The volume works smoothly and gets LOUD. I wasn't comfortable turning it up past 75% in my house, and the sound was still really clear. The bass and treble adjustments work remarkably well. I wound up turning both up pretty high for my speaker setup, but your mileage may vary. I didn't notice any heat buildup, but there was a bit of airflow on it from the fan on my power supply.
Overall, if you're doing a DIY project and need some VOLUME, this is a great option. Finding a power supply to run it at 200W is the hardest part.

I had an old BOSE that I lost the ac adapter and remote for so fig it was an opportunity to make it Bluetooth and use a standard ac adapter. and wow it sounds better than the original bose amp. I did a quick hook-up to test see the pic and now that I know is great ill install it properly. the only downfall is a delay so if you want to use it for gameplay or movies there is a noticeable delay but for music play it's fantastic.
