The install was pretty simple (no instructions but pretty self explanatory or Google for install) and as another review mentioned, the painted bolts on the hinges were pretty tough. I also had to heat them with a blow torch but other than that... pretty straight forward. I mounted in the opposite direction as I like the jack sitting close to the windshield than over the hood but either way works. Just a matter of preference. I may turn them around as the way they are now, I might have to remove the mounts to open the hood. Not sure if that's a big deal or not. Overall very pleased with the mounts and a great price.

I have a 2015 JKU and this mount is perfect for my Hi-Lift Jack. It also allows for the windshield nozzles to clear the jack and hit my windshield perfectly! Not sure about all the other complaints below, but if you are handy, you can install this in 10-15 minutes. So glad I didn't buy the M-900 by Hi-Lift for $70+. This is just as good and looks great on my jeep!

Received the correct item however; the item that I ordered new was definitely used.. it has scratch marks and obvious marking where the item had been installed and removed, also a couple of the washers are missing.
