I was skeptical about buying a cheap version of this product. I didn't want to be in the back country and not have a way to make my food. I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did. This little stove works great. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on one of the name brand stoves.

It's much bigger than expected, but that's not a bad thing for me. I got this to use inside a van, as well as outdoors in summer.
I bought a separate adapter for using the cheaper 1lb propane bottles to save on fuel cost. I'm not sure if the issues with flame controls are due to that or not, but it doesn't like being too low, ot goes yellow and must be turned off for 10-15 seconds and restarted. Also too high makes the flames come out from the sides. So be careful.
I haven't tried it with the proper cans of fuel, so I don't know if that's a defect in the stove, or a side effect of the different fuel type..
Regardless, it works well if kept in the right range of the valve with propane bottles and an adapter.
It boils 2 cups of water insanely fast, which is the main purpose of getting this.
I was able to cook a brick of ramen noodles in it without boiling away the water (lid removed) and it came out fine.
