Perfect for transitioning to big bed

I have a 2.5 year old who shares a room with her 5 year old sister who has a bunk bed. My 2 year old has been trying to crawl out of her crib to sleep on the bottom bunk, so we got these to help her transition to the big bed. It's been awesome because she safe and secure and it's so easy to pull down the sides to get her in and out so it's been a big positive for me with a bad back lowering getting her in and out her crib. Love these!

I bought these to transition my toddler to his bed. He rolls around a lot in his sleep and I was worried he would fall out of his bed. I bought these thinking that all 3 came in one pack since that is what the picture shows, but that is not the case. You have to buy each one separately. They took some time to install, and we had to adjust it a bit to make sure it was really secure. He has been using them for a few months now, and they have stayed in really great shape.

First, I ordered 2 rails in the sizes need for a full size bed. They sent 1 correct size and 1 incorrect size. Had to reorder. Secondly, I didn't personally put it together but I know my bf had a bit of a hard time trying to do it himself but he was able to get it done. Lastly, while they do the job for my 1yr old they are entirely safe. Unless we have put them together wrong, the space between the mattress and the rail/netting is very very loose. My son has almost falling in between the 2 in his sleep. Luckily I saw him and moved him. I have to keep shoving blankets in between the 2 to try and keep him from falling in. Even if he was just standing on the bed holding onto the rail his foot and legs could very very easily slide in between the 2 and get very hurt. We are going to try and reassemble it this weekend but we will most likely have to put a piece of furniture up against the outside of the bed rail to keep it squished as close to the mattress as possible. I would definitely not recommend these for infants that can't maneuver themselves out of a weird position should they fall in between.
