I purchased Guess in 10 Junior Animal Kingdom for my grandchildren to use when they visited us for Thanksgiving. My grandchildren are 3 and 5. The purpose of this trivia game is to ask questions and guess the name of the animal on the chosen card. My grandchildren quickly learned the way to play this game and had lots of fun playing it. They played it several times over the course of the weekend. This game is very age appropriate. Children do not have to know how to read. They quickly learn what questions to ask guided by the pictures on the cards. (Does this animal have wings? Does it live in the water? What does it eat?) This game helps kids classify information and sharpens their mental observation skills as they piece clues together. I now plan to by Guess in 10 Junior Inside My House or Food We Eat to play the next time my grandchildren come to visit.

We have been playing this game for over a year now and bought it as a gift as well.
Our older one can read so he plays it according to the rules however if the younger one is playing we tweak the rules a little so we can all play together. Even after playing it for many times it is fun and very informative for the kids. It also helps for the little one to identify names and encourages her reading.

Great game idea, and my kids love it. I have also used this for adults while teaching a class and needed to buy some time while more students arrived. I bought this game to have shipped to our destination- to a relatives house. These relatives were empty nesters so I wasn't sure they had young childrens games. We were traveling with one child, age 6. Among all of us, even other visitors, we each played this game or 4 with that child and had tons of fun. Our child definitely learned many spectrums of animals from their homes, to what they eat, if live on land and even if they live on a farm or in the wild. It's a great game for all.
