The monitor does pretty fast so having an extra charger allows me to keep one at my nightstand and one that I can move around to the living room, etc. It's been great not having to unplug the one from my nightstand throughout the day or have to remember to plug it back in in between naps

Having mutliple cords for our monitor is great! Especially when ours started malfunctioning with its battery. I would say its' unfortunate how expensive just replacement cords are but this one seems to be competitive without being extreme. I would say I wish the second cord (without the usb end) is very short. We have difficulty plugging it from a wall and being able to place it on a side table.
