Very sturdy bench
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•October 7, 2023
This Deracy adjustable bench is a solid and heavy bench. I'm satisfied with this bench. HOWEVER, the adjustable metal hook attachment under the seat fits crooked to the metal catch on the base (Hope you understand), but that does not bother me. I just noticed it but don't think it affects the performance of the bench. It's still a very sturdy bench, especially for the price.
For those who complain how cheap and junk this bench is because it's made in China, why did you buy it if you knew it was made in China? If you really want a highly rated bench, buy Rogue's Adjustible Bench 2.0 and pay $200+ more and the enormous shipping fee.
Overall, the Deracy Deluxe bench is great for the price, and I feel safe lifting heavy weights on it. It's very solid.

A Very Solid Bench

This is actually my second adjustable bench that I have bought from Amazon. The previous one was flimsy and shook while you lifted weights on it. This one is sturdy with a T-shaped design that helps stabilize the bench while your lay back and work out. I can do all types of exercises on this one without fear of it tipping over. It is fairly heavy, but that is how you know it is a solid build.
The bench is fairly easy to assemble, and all the necessary tools come with the item. Set-up took me about 15 minutes. Adjusting it is as simple as pulling it up and placing the lever in the correct spot. No unnecessary pull pins, just an easy to change bar you lift.
The only possible downside I see with this bench is the lack of leg supports, although I actually prefer my bench without them. Overall it is a great solidly built bench for a home gym.

Incredibly sturdy bench and built to last. Really liking it so far and hopefully for many years to come.
Rugged and stable, and customer service is excellent.

Update: I reached out to the seller to see if I could exchange my slightly crooked bench and they sent me a new one. The new bench was dead level. Changing my rating to 5 stars from 3 but letting old review stay as is.
Pros: Rugged, stable, easy to assemble and use; good value for the money.
Con: Loose manufacturing tolerances made mine crooked from the factory (see update- seller sent me a new one).
I did a lot of research before finally buying this on Prime day at it's lowest price in a while. Of all the benches of similar capacity and price point, it had the highest number of 4 and 5 star reviews. It is everything it claims to be - rugged, stable in the flat and incline (so far had combined 485lbs in the flat and combined 315lbs at a 45° incline). It's lower to the ground than the Weider and Marcy style home benches, so I can pick dumbbells off the ground when doing seated stuff and get better leg drive when doing bench press.
Very easy to assemble- it even comes with a full sized, forged box wrench- not one of those cheap stamped steel ones.
I would give this 5 stars if it hadn't come from the factory with the main support crooked. if you look at my pictures in order, you can see that the bench, when flat, is not level -it's off by 3°-4°. This is a real problem when doing flat bench - not only will you be off balance, I kept hitting the spotting bar on one side of my weight cage. Next picture shows that a) the rear support is level, but b) the brace that is used to control the bench angle is not centered. Next picture shows that this isn't a problem with the seat back pad - the actual frame member is off of level at the end, and (next picture) all the way back at the hinge. Last picture shows what I think is the culprit - that center, tombstone shaped piece is crooked, and since that is what is joining the seat to the main frame, the whole thing is off.
I'm debating whether or not to return this - I could probably shim the low side, but I have concerns about stressing the seatback if it's not flat on the beam. I don't have the original packaging anymore, so I'm nor sure I could return it at this point.
Again, this bench is so close to being perfect, but the manufacturing let it down.

I've been purchasing things from Amazon for years and this is literally the first review I've ever submitted.
This bench is incredible. It is solid, very sturdy, nice and heavy (but not too heavy), good looking, the welds are high quality, and it's very easy to assemble.
I have had a bench for a long time now and it is nice but it is about 22" off the ground when flat. It's too high and didn't allow for great leg drive during presses and prevented stability during some seated movements. This bench is just over 17" tall when flat which is perfect. It has the triangular seat cushion which allows for comfortable seated movements. The craftsmanship is top notch.
The small handle at the front of the bench makes it easy to move. The wheels are high quality and it rolls nicely (and quietly). It's easy to tell that it is rated for a lot of weight just by moving it around.
The bench comes in a box with the frame, the bar where the wheels are attached, and the 2 seat cushions. Included are 11 bolts, 2 nuts, some washers, an allen wrench, and a real wrench in 17 and 19 mm (not one of those flimsy flat pieces of metal that other manufacturers provide and call a wrench). I thought it was a big deal that the entire frame was already assembled and most of the joints were welded. My previous bench took an hour to assemble and I had to put the entire frame together. This bench took 10 minutes and is solid as a rock.
10 out of 10. Would highly recommend. This is an excellent bench. Worth every penny.
