24% wool with a polyester lining. Very comfortable but runs slightly on the small side. The flaps will not cover your earlobes unless you really pull the cap down hard on your noggin but I would buy again.

Nice warm hat that feels like wool, circumference horizontally around head fits good, but the crown of the hat fits strangely high so that it keeps slipping down over eyebrows. I've not ever had this problem with other baseball caps. Got the medium and actually washed it to try to shrink it a bit, which helped a little.

I normally wear 7 3/8 and can wear 7 1/2 if needed. I ordered a charcoal Large. It is a full 7 5/8. I tried wearing it but it ended up resting on my ears. Also, the crown was a too roomy and felt like I was wearing a bucket. Thus, I decided to try a Medium.
Based on what I normally wear, I would put the Medium at a 7 1/4 or maybe 7 5/16. It's a little snug on me and whereas I can't stand a tight hat, I decided to keep the Medium and return the Large. I trust it will stretch a bit and become comfortable. It does have an elastic band that I'm hoping will loosed up with time. And, the Medium isn't a headache maker; rather, I'll say it would be good in a strong wind. On the other hand, if you have a small head, there's no way a Medium is going to fit.
As for the form of the cap, I like it. It's a crush'able-structured crown. It doesn't have the hardened crosshatch stuff found in the crown of structured caps. On the other hand, it's not floppy like a traditional unstructured cap. Rather, it's similar to a crush'able Stetson, perhaps a little less formed and definitely softer.
It is indeed very warm and I do like it. It's just that the sizing is a little nuts. Also, it does a good job covering your ears and neck. I've tried other brands that just barely cover your ears. This one does a good job.

The hat is a little shallow in depth but is pretty comfortable. I bought XL thinking that it might be a little loose but didn't want to risk getting an L. The XL is not very XL, it's a lot closer to L. Just barely fit on my big-brained head. I guess it is snug enough that it won't blow off in a wind, or hurricane. BL, if you have a really big head don't trust their sizing.
