Assymbly was pretty easy. Directions were pretty good. Just don't get ahead of the instructions and you will do just fine.

As far as actually using your CNC (no matter what size), there is a learning curve as for the software goes. There are several very good YouTube videos I would suggest you watch that will help you choose a CNC from and what particular software to choose to work with it...

The media could not be loaded. It arrived well packaged. Setup took about an hour or two because i was going back and forth on the laptop. The software is pretty easy once you play around. I couldnt find a way to convert my cad files from ds mechanical to g-code so i downloaded rabbitcam. Tested the laser after focusing and it worked. Im testing feeds and speeds on acrylic currently. I bought some single flute end mills to use over what came packaged. It comes with collets also. Couldnt figure out the clamp system so i made a vice out of cast plastic then milled it on my milling machine. Theres no mounts for limit switches which is a big drawback so i can't give it 5 stars. Ive crashed the bed twice already. I bought limit switches but need to make mounts for them. Otherwise its sturdy and can't wait to test aluminum on it.

Im adding this in and rating from 4 star to 5; i had a minor issue and contacted customer service and i will say service is through the roof! With more companies were like this one. They are pretty fast to respond and are dedicated to helping you. I havent had a company do this in over 10 years and help the customer like they do. They just became my go-to for accessories and upgrades or parts. That is my appreciation for what they are doing to help me! Awesome!

I bought this kit to get into cnc design and milling. I wanted to make custom engravings and other cool stuff. For the price it is an amazing kit. Keep in mind it came right from china so directions aren't perfect but I have a pretty good mechanical aptitude so I was able to set it up just fine. They included everything to run the machine on a flash drive. (program to run 3 axis milling and 2 axis laser engraving)

Overall the only complaints are that the clamps to hold down your material are poorly designed. Other than that it is awesome.

Great basic CNC with laser module. If you're familiar with how these things work, you'll be up and running in no time, although there is a learning curve for newbies. I wish it had more than just ten 20° V engravers, 45° or 60° would be nice, too. End mills are good but need clean up after the cut. All in all happy with the unit.
