I use this hanger on a laundry room door where I did not have a space for a permanent wall hanging bar. It works well. It folds down when I'm not using it, so I can leave it on the door all the time. It seems to have good construction so I'm not worried about how many items I have to hang. The hooks over the top of the door are large, so I put a piece of non-skid material to work as a cushion so that there was a snugger fit -- if you have a larger thickness door, you do not need to worry about it being able to go over it.

I really like this product. We don't have a clothing line or places to hang dry clothes and I usually don't need to hang dry a lot. This provides the perfect amount of space to dry clothes without taking up any space. It's super compact which helps for storing away. Must have!!!!

I had a guest coming and the closet was full. This over the door hanger was great for hanging her clothes in a separate place so she didn't feel as if she was squishing her items into my already filled closet. However, after she left, I moved it to the front of the door, and use it to dry dish towels and other items. Somehow hanging them on or around the sink doesn't dry them completely, however, putting them on this extended bar for a few hours and they are dry - ready for use again, or ready to be tossed in the laundry basket without worrying about damp smells or bacteria.
