Technology has come a LONG way! After loading the reel up with 17lb mono, and a little fiddling with the reel's settings, I was absolutely, totally blown away.
This reel GREATLY exceeded my expectations. I am going to buy another one.

I really like this reel. It's smooth it's got a comfortable handle but the brakes suck. I had the brakes maxed out and was still backwashing before it landed. But it is a good reel
