Almost got it right

The pros. It is really accurate to within a few feet. It is seriously light. The battery life is awesome. Very sensitive. Super easy to set up.
The cons. It sends alerts even when I am next to it with my phone/bluetooth. The size is a little awkward. The charging port is exposed to weather (a plug would be nice). Perhaps make it water resistant. It lives in the pouch on my bike (see picture). Have the app tell you the battery level %. I know it has the icon but 10%, 50%, etc would be nice.

I'm keeping this on my bicycle in case it gets stolen. I've only had the unit a few weeks but have tested the tracking as I ride my bike around. It updates the location frequently enough and is accurate enough for this application in my opinion and the app is great for showing the location history. My only concern is that it is not that easy for me to find a good hiding place on my bikes. On my Bosch-based e-bike I tried opening up the motor compartment but there wasn't quite enough room. Perhaps if the battery could be separated from the rest of the unit (connected by a wire) this could work. For a carbon fiber or bamboo bike frame I was thinking maybe the seat tube would work but it is just a tiny bit too wide to fit into a 27.2mm seat tube. I think it could fit into a 30.9mm seat tube but those seem less common and at least I don't have a bike with that diameter seat tube. Having some sort of lockable holder that can be secured to a bike frame would make this much more convenient for mounting on a bicycle in a way that it can't be easily removed by a thief.

I bought this tracker to have an independent solution for keeping tabs on important items when commuting on public transport or traveling. The battery life and the GPS give me a lot of peace of mind that I'll be able to easily track down and recover a lost or stolen bag rather than relying on a bluetooth-only solution (Apple Tag, Tile) which are easily recognizable and could be removed in case of theft -- Invoxia's tracker just looks like a simple battery pack in my bag, and is super small and light so it doesn't weigh me down.

I've been using it for about a week and already had good results with the zone alerts and movement detection, too. The first year's subscription fees being included in purchase is a big plus, and the annual subscription is less than most streaming video services, totally worth it.
